My name is Spencer Raymond. I’m a 2010 graduate of  the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. I have degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Policy Studies and a minor in Chinese Studies.

I’ve been freelancing since 2007 in both on and off air capacities and have worked for a variety of networks including ESPN, FSN, CBS and NPR.

Up next I’m headed to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. I’ll be working for ESPN International at their outdoor set in Mandela Square in Sandton in Johannesburg. So if you’re watching ESPN Deportes or any ESPN channel outside the United States you will see this set regularly!

In 2008 I lived in Beijing, China for eight months going to school and working at the Olympics. Below is a pic of me while working on top of Pangu Plaza.

Don’t forget to check out my blog, dispence.
